In the Moment

Resting in the moment is the first step in bringing your attention to whatever is happening here and now, whether it’s a difficult emotion, a random thought, or simply your breath. When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we're sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future.

 

Mindful Meditation

The practice of dedicating time to develop quality of mind or heart, often in silence. Though often done in sitting practice, meditation may also be done while walking, eating or working on your craft. The key is to make mindfulness and meditation a priority at the beginning of your day, or setting a calendar reminder to practice in the afternoon or evening.
